New Haven’s Life Science District
Downtown Crossing is a multi-phased development initiative that will reconnect New Haven’s life science district with the downtown business, government, arts and entertainment, and education centers. The development plan of Downtown Crossing includes residential, retail, and health care and research facilities, helping to promote a livable, walkable community.
100 College and 300 George Street represent the first phase of the total 10-acre development. 100 College Street, in conjunction with the Yale School of Medicine, and 300 George Street solidify New Haven as the cornerstone of the State of Connecticut’s life sciences initiative that will also facilitate new urban development and revitalization of the area.
