The Pearl is a multi-phased, mixed-use development featuring office, lab, ground level retail with food and beverage activation, residential including affordable housing, hospitality, academic spaces, outdoor plaza and community gathering including programming and events.
The first phase of the district includes Charlotte’s first four-year medical school, Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte and a dynamic research building that will be anchored by the world’s most advanced training center – IRCAD – with their only location in North America, delivering in summer of 2025.
