Wexford Science & Technology to Open Entrepreneurial Spaces in 850 PBC

Wexford Science & Technology, LLC, a national innovation district developer that partners exclusively with universities, academic medical centers, and research institutions, is launching the Wexford Innovation Labs at 850 PBC, the firm’s newest development located in the Phoenix Biomedical Campus.

Innovation Quarter announces master plan for phase II of innovation district development

The 28-acre site for Innovation Quarter Phase II sits on either side of Research Parkway, the majority south of Third Street and north of Salem Parkway. Upon completion, it is anticipated that the development will allow for an additional 1 million additional square feet of clinical/lab/office space. The Innovation Quarter currently comprises 2.1 million square feet of similar space.

Congratulations to our 2021 Bioscience High School Interns at 850 PBC

In 2021, four student interns from the Bioscience High School located on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, supported Wexford’s director of development at 850 PBC. These students were able to learn about the multiple facets of development and leasing including market research, event planning, tenant communications, and master planning. We congratulate them on a job well done and wish them all the best of luck on their future endeavors at Arizona State University, Swarthmore College, and beyond.

Announcing the 2021 Awards for Excellence Winners

Powel Elementary – Science Leadership Academy Middle School (Philadelphia, PA) for excellence in public private partnerships, education development and community engagement. A unique public and private partnership between Drexel University and the School District of Philadelphia that combines an existing K-4 school (Powel) with a recently created middle school (Science Leadership Academy) into one combined facility in West Philadelphia. Developed and submitted by Drexel University and Wexford Science + Technology.

Outdoor festival in downtown Winston-Salem to celebrate IdeasCityWS

An outdoor festival marking the culmination of a year of creative collaborations between Wake Forest University, New York City’s New Museum and local community partners will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2, in Bailey Park from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Winston-Salem.

A highlight of the event will be the Marketplace of Ideas – an “outdoor living room” with interactive exhibits from two dozen local creative organizations representing progressive contributions in art, tech, design and culture. Artists, entrepreneurs, designers, and inventors will display working ideas poised to move our communities forward as we imagine a post-pandemic Winston-Salem.
