Claire Drummond

Assistant Director, Development

Claire serves as Assistant Director of Development in Wexford’s western region including California and Arizona. She is responsible for project management in support of marketing, leasing, financing, operations and construction of UC Davis’ Aggie Square, Wexford’s signature project in the Sacramento market. The 8.25-acre site will feature modern office and mixed-use space including a new public square programmed to connect the University with its neighboring communities.

In addition, Claire also assists on the project management efforts in Phoenix, AZ at 850 N. 5th Street, a lab/office building focused on biomedical research and innovation in partnership with Arizona State University and the City of Phoenix.

Prior to joining the Wexford team, Claire was a Senior Program Manager at Arizona State University, leading the place-based innovation efforts for the Entrepreneurship + Innovation team. This included oversight of design and construction of new spaces for the program, project management and day to day operations of current sites and launching a premier community-facing makerspace.

Before ASU, she worked at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), curating a diverse portfolio of clients for CIC Boston, helping to implement data analytics for sales goals and eventually leading the expansion into Providence, Rhode Island.

She received her Bachelor of Science and Art in Operations Management and Spanish from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and a Master of Global Affairs in Innovation Ecosystems from the University of Toronto.
